Google拟发布ChatGPT的竞争对手Bard

ChatGPT的大火让Google也坐不住了，许多人认为这一波Google已落后一个身位。坊间甚至传言创始人谢尔盖・布林都已“躬身入局”，亲自写代码了。上面的说法可以当八卦看来一乐，不过昨天微软官宣Bing和Edge浏览器要集成ChatGPT时，Google也不甘示弱，表示也要上线大模型Bard (这个名字倒也颇具浪漫主义气质：吟游诗人)。

两年前Google发布了下一代的语言模型 LaMDA，之后一直基于LaMDA探索实验性的对话服务。现在Google决定更进一步，在服务彻底开放给公众前，先开放给部分用户。

Bard能将广泛的知识与大模型结合，从网上找到最新和高质量的信息并回复给用户。目前ChatGPT尚不具备这种能力，因为它还未与搜索API结合，这是LaMDA的长处。下面的demo展示了它可以将NASA空间望远镜向一个9岁的小孩解释：

不过最近ChatGPT火得有些过头了，让人找到了2015年中国股市的感觉，连买菜的大妈都开始谈论ChatGPT了，这事儿就有点意思了，难保没有泡沫。公众对它还是不应期望过高，它也并没有大家想像中的那样万能，还有许多未解问题。
